In Arlington, VA just around the corner from the Myers condo
a bike race commenced, all day long.
As we waited to cross the closed to vehicles street, several
people shouted at us from all directions. One from the roof top, police car
megaphone and at street level. We waited till it was clear and were
given the go ahead by all!

That was so funny! It was like guardian angels! Just when you thought about risking it and crossing someone from "above" yelled, "Don't cross! Stay back!"
Annoyed me until that group flew by!! :)
