Les Mis in Omaha

It was an amazing performance!

science fun

While studying anatomy, Elliot preformed a skin experiment.
Some substances stay on the skin's
surface while others are absorbed.

Great job, Elliot!

Michelle's Texas adventure

My wonderful husband, flew Michelle to Texas to attend the
THSC conference with me. Hunter was part of the teen staff and Elliot
attended Young Men of Valor.

The weekend was a
fabulous introduction into homeschooling in Texas.
Which include a Tim Hawkins concert, super funny!

Thanks, Alex.
And Brent for sacrificing
without Michelle for the
weekend.

Wolverines volleyball

Hunter has a killer overhand serve.
Go Lady Wolverines!

Winter with snow!

We will miss the Nebraska snow. Houston
won't be seeing any of the cold, beautiful snow.
We are making new traditions and
enjoying Texas size experiences together.

Omaha friends come see us, when it's zero degrees
in NE!! Houston will be warm.

school fun, owl pellet dissection

Dissecting owl pellets proved to be an interesting project, we found
mostly rodent vertebrae. The kit provided information on
Alaskan raptors as well. We learned the golden eagle grip
is 800 pounds per square inch, enough to grab a small deer.
