Thomas Hart Benton

Dad, Hunter & I spent the afternoon marveling at Benton's work. He began on Hollywood set designs. Each piece depicting America landscape and life of his time. He captured larger than life work   .  Several of his murals were sized at 35 feet long by 6 feet tall.

Samaritan's Purse Operation Christmas Child

This week it's collection time for Operation Christmas child
shoebox gifts.   This Christmas giving program is absolutely
my favorite.  Shopping for each child and praying for them as
I pack their box is a privilege.
The shoebox gifts are delivered all over the world by plane, camel, boat,
truck and on foot to children in desperate circumstances.
Along with the simple gift, they hear about God's
amazing gift of Jesus and His love for each
of these dear children.

Samaritan's Purse goes to
great lengths to spread the love of God through a simple gift.
Many people have heard the Good News through this
amazing program.  May God continue to bless these efforts and
ensure each boxes delivery to just the right recipient.
