Santa's Woods

The 8 inches of snow didn't stop us from choosing a planted tree from a tree farm. We took a hay rack ride and enjoyed several cups of hot cocoa at Santa's Woods. The tree choice was exceptional. Sammy had trouble getting through the deep snow, but still had fun being outside. We played the traditional hide n seek game after choosing the perfect pine.

Birthday fun

Hunter crocheted the most beautiful scarf for me. I'm amazed with her talents. Thanks for the wonderful gift.

My birthday was a delightful day of smiles and laughter. Alex, Elliot & Hunter made my day extra special. Mom and Dad sent a beautiful poinsettia, which was delivered to the door. Thanks to everyone for the celebration.

Christmas baking

Hunter was busy in the kitchen baking cookies to share with friends and family. My favorite was the chocolate covered graham crackers.
We made chocolate dipped sugar cookies together. As a fun game we played our version of "The Iron Baker". Who says competition isn't healthy!

Cookie exchange

Our Bible study class enjoyed a cookie exchange together. Becky made the cutest gingerbread bears, tasty too!

Porch picnic

Freezing cold didn't stop Elliot & David from enjoying a picnic on the porch.

Wii time

We took the plunge into Wii world this Christmas. Elliot & Hunter have fun playing Wii sports and more.
