Happy New Year!

He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear and put their trust in the Lord.
Psalm 40:3

October porch scare crow

It was a fun afternoon of making our scare crow. Next year we'll remember to buy the hay from NW feed store and not Mulhall's.

Mom and Dad

What a treasure it is to have my parents to love.

Making rounds with Grandpa

Elliot had the chance to learn from Grandpa how to make a round. He measured the gun powder, filled the casing and crimped the bullet.

BB gun shoot out

Rachael and Elliot have identical BB guns. Elliot just received his this Christmas. They set up a shoot out contest in Grandpa & Grandma's back yard. At one point the target was a penny!
Great job, shooters.

Kansas City Christmas 2009

We are extremely blessed to have family to celebrate Christmas with. While in KC we opened gifts, played games, ice skated and saw beautiful light displays. My favorite was spending time with my sister. We shopped for Mom together, it was a special treat to be together.

Christmas 2009

Alex smoked a turkey for Christmas dinner. It was delicious! He's our Grill Sergent.

Elliot gives hugs for each gift he opens, lots of love for Hunter.

The much anticipated rag rug for Kathy. She's very happy. It's beautiful work, Hunter.

With the celebration of Christmas '09 Omaha had a blizzard. The accumulation reached 18 inches between the two storms. We're thankful Kathy made it here from IL. As she drove up on Christmas Eve, I-29 was being closed behind her. She saw an overturned snowplow on the side of I-29. That's not a pleasant site when you're in a Camry.
